I'm sure YOU all know this... but I've always wondered: to what is Frost referring when he uses the phrase "and steadfast as Keat's Eremite" in CHOOSE SOMETHING LIKE A STAR? I've sung and led this piece since I was a student in high school... and now I finally have an answer:
The most interesting thing to me about this discovery is that Frost apparently lived in a time and "thought world" in which he could count on most readers knowing what he meant. That America is certainly a thing of the past, sadly.
