The main reason for the blog's existence was to be telling you what I'm planning to rehearse each week. So... a little late, here is the first installment for this concert:
Barbara is sick, so we'll have a guest accompanist tonight. Because there are so many portions of the REQUIEM that are men or women alone, I want to spend a couple weeks on sectionals when she returns. But we will wait a week on that.
REQUIEM: III (rehearsal 24 to 32); IV, VI, VII
HOPKINS: A Birthday, May, Come to Me, (if time, When I Am Dead)
