Internet Note Learning Resources

Chorale member Helga Kuhnt-Moore has found a site to help with learning the notes for A CEREMONY OF CAROLS. Click here. The site contains MIDI (computer generated) files of each of the individual movements. You can click on your own part and hear the music in a way that emphasizes your part (the others are still audible in the background). If you decide you want this learning aid to take with you (on an iPod or such), you can buy the files. To use the files on the website is free.
As she did last year, Helga continues to amaze me by what can be seen/heard on YouTube. This link will take you to a recording of the Procession from CEREMONY. Once there you'll also see many related videos (on the right). Most, if not all, are in the original treble-only version.
Sadly, there is nothing for the Mechem SEVEN JOYS OF CHRISTMAS. See you tonight.
